About Us
We began with a simple question: what if love letters never went away, they just needed a better editor?
From that thought (and a stubborn belief that print is still the most romantic medium), The Lonely Hearts Club was born. Equal parts literary experiment and romantic rebellion, we are a new independent newspaper bringing back the glory (and chaos) of personal ads.
This is a paper for those who still believe in the magic of words and the mystery of ink on paper. For old souls who still remember the smell of fresh print. For readers and writers, daydreamers and realists, anyone exhausted by the endless scroll and digital déjà vu.
We’re here to slow things down, to celebrate the beautifully imperfect art of connection in all its awkward, hopeful, and occasionally hilarious forms.
What We Believe
Words reveal more than selfies ever could.
Longing is universal, a little messy, and often quite funny.
The perfect match is a myth, but a good story? That’s forever.
We’re not just printing ads. We’re telling stories, kindling connections, and reminding you that sometimes, the best conversations start with a little mystery and a handwritten letter.
